Korg Triton: Remapping GM files to play Triton drum kits

Scenario

You're trying to play GM files through your Triton and get the drum tracks to be played by the Triton drum kits.

Procedure

Most of the drum kits in the Korg Triton Series are transposed by one octave from the GM standard.

1. Transpose the drum track by +12 or -12.
2. In the internal sequencer, use the Move/Shift Note command to remap individual hits to other sounds.

Tips

Another option is to create your GM-mapped drum kits in Global using all the available samples in the Triton.
